Joyce Perdue of , Maryland, United States on 12/25/2007 8:31:03 PM

I just discovered your books and I am in love with them! My family would like me not to become so engrossed in my reading; they sometimes have to remind me that it is suppertime! I am an avid reader and I like romance, but my books have to have rich characters and interesting plots. I have about five favorite authors and now I will add you to my list as well. Your characters and plots have stolen my heart, so much in fact that I have to keep telling myself that these characters are not real. The fact they are to me is a sure sign of two things: #1 I am a hopeless romantic and reading addict, #2 You are a very talented writer. Merry Christmas! Debby Lynch by
Debby Lynch of Belpre, Ohio, USA on 12/22/2007 4:04:04 PM

Hello Maureen, Remember our time working together at one of the killer chain stores. I have often wondered about your writing and where you might have moved to after Colorado. It was just by chance that I opened the Berkley catalog and saw your name for A Reason to Believe, so I got curious and looked up your web site. You look great and it seems that you are doing very well writing. Glad to see Al is doing well as well. Is he still military or retired now? Congratulations on your author success. Best Wishes, Candy by

I am a great western romance fan and sell secondhand books here with this theme. I came upon a copy of your novel To Find You Again in a mixed lot I bought. Well I am hooked. I now collect your novels for my Keeper shelf and to sell here. My husband and I spend as much time as we can in the US. I have a passion/obsession with the US Civil War period and for the women of this particular period in your history. Along with the early west in general. I am so glad there are some writers still write such wonder western romance and period novels. I have just found your web through doing research on FictionDB to which I subscribe. Adore your country. I never read your books until lately and they are very good. I am not the type of reader that goes for romance, but your books also offer suspence and thats good for me. by
kathy stewart of , , on 3/10/2006 9:44:24 PM

I haven't read any of your historical westerns but I just fineshed "Convictions" and thought it was great!! I will definitely be looking for your other books. If they're only half as good I will love them! Luckily I'm not bound by genre as I read everything from suspense to historicals to paranormals, science fiction, and fantasy - as long as it's a romance I'll grab it up. I never understand when people complain that their favorite author changed genres and now they can't read her anymore. For me it's all about the style and the way an author is able to capture my attention and pull me into the story. You did a great job with "Convictions" and I'm looking forward to your other books! BTW I love the western part of the US since I spent a vacation there four years ago. Didn't get as far north as North Dakota, though. But I bet it's as beautiful as the rest of that wild and wonderful part of America. All the best from Germany! Sandra by
Sandra Buedinger of , , on 2/28/2006 7:49:30 AM

Absolutely love your western romances. Started with Mail Order Bride and just finished To Find You Again. My problem is that I am having a difficult time locating your books locally in stores or our libraries. That's why I decided to try the website and get them direct. Keep doing what you do, I can't get enough of your books. My husband says I get more pleasure from you than I do him! haha Thanks! by

I love the historical westerns also. I read the biography of Cynthia Ann Parker. My husband is from the area in which her "white" family history is rich. She was kidnapped by Indians. Much later was found and brought back to "her kin". She died soon after. Her story is so tragic yet captivating. When I read "To Find You Again", I thought much of Cynthia Anne. Different stories yet great reads. I look forward to you next book. Karen by

Dear Maureen, It was a pleasure to meet you at Hastings with Jodi. I was detained and didn't get to make the potluck. I would hope that you got to see some of our part of the the state. I've gotten through 2 of the stories and will probably finish it tonight. I'm now going to try and find all of your backlist. I look forward to your next novel. Thanks, Maude by

I had to smile when I saw the pic of your dog Paige, I have a male version named Bear, although he's more like a teddy bear. *G* by

My twin sister, Pam Westbrook, worked with Maureen in the Papillion/LaVista Walmart Pharmacy in Nebraska. I've read Maureen's books since the very beginning. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of her books and have been lucky enough to have my sister get signed copies for most of them. I have 1 title in hardback. Are any of the other titles in hardback and how can I purchase them? Keep on writing! by
